A specialized gaming hardware store named Game Portal is set to launch in 30 countries by Samsung company. As the announcement says, it will be an online store where we will be able to buy things like smartphones, gaming monitors, TVs, SSDs, and more. The first countries to get it will be Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the US with more to follow later this year.
It is set to be a one-stop shop for all of your gaming needs. So what can we expect? All of the products made by Samsung like Odyssey gaming monitors, their SSDs, and smartphones. The Game Portal will also showcase content related to games. Samsung aims to create a center for all your needs with gaming content, product information, reviews, discounts, and expert help.
Executive Vice President Evelyn Kim stated that:
Gaming has become an important part of consumers’ lifestyle, not just entertainment, especially for Millennials and Gen Z. We will implement various initiatives to provide customers with a superior gaming experience, from purchase to use, by providing an environment that makes it enjoyable and easy to purchase gaming-related products.
Studies concluded by Accenture say that at least half of the gamers are dedicated to more than one platform. Game Portal is said to be the best place for cross-platform players.
Samsung’s online store will sell, among many other things, the Galaxy S23 Ultra exclusively optimized for mobile gaming, the Neo QLED TV designed for the cloud gaming experience nad the Odyssey OLED G9 monitor for the highest quality of gaming.
The gaming industry is still rapidly growing, with the mobile industry being more and more popular and Samsung is making a move to become an undisputed leader in the industry.
