Months of speculations, new reports about the movie and its cast, information about the main Four to be cast, and today it all goes away. Rumors say that Adam Driver and Margot Robbie are no longer part of the Fantastic Four reboot.

The Hollywood casting drama continues, but now it hits Marvel Cinematic Universe. Reports indicate that two of the main characters no longer have their actors. Insider KC Walsh twitted that the actors will not play Reed Richards and Sue Storm. Different sources indicate that the reason behind their departure is money – too high pay to be exact. As of right now neither the production company nor Disney released any statements so there is a slight chance that this might be not true. This might once again spark the discussion that the perfect cast would be John Krasinski and Emily Blunt duo.

After the premiere of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Krasinksi stated that “There aren’t any discussions at all, the only discussion I had was actually in the second-to-last week of Jack Ryan“. With Jack Ryan starting its final season, maybe the talks finally happened.
Other popular choices across the fandom are Penn Badgley with Dev Patel and Mila Kunis with Jodie Comer.
Currently, there is no more news about the new Fantastic Four. The project is led by Matt Shakman after Jon Watts departed the film. Shakman already has a good amount of experience with Marvel Universe because he directed nine episodes of WandaVision, which to this day is considered to be the best Marvel TV production. What is even more intriguing, Shakman opted to leave Star Trek 4 to have a chance to direct Fantastic Four.
The MCU’s Fantastic Four movie does not have a release date yet.
